Big Tower Rush runs on a dynamic threat-assessment engine that calculates enemy waves based on your tower level, upgrade choices, and current defense rating. Every 15 seconds, the algorithm generates a new wave composition mixing ground units, aerial attackers, and boss-tier threats. Your tower automatically targets the highest-priority enemy within range, but strategic upgrade placement determines whether you survive wave 50 or wave 500.
The game offers 52 distinct upgrade branches across three core systems: weapon modules, structural reinforcements, and tactical abilities. Each upgrade path contains 8-12 tiers, with branching choices at levels 3, 6, and 9. For example, the Cannon Module splits into Rapid Fire (attack speed +40%) or Heavy Caliber (damage +120%, speed -20%) at tier 3. Your choices permanently alter tower behavior and unlock synergy bonuses when combining specific upgrade combinations.
Defeating enemies drops three resource types: Credits for basic upgrades, Tech Points for advanced modules, and Rush Tokens for instant wave skips. The economy scales exponentially - wave 100 enemies drop 15x more resources than wave 10 enemies. A prestige system unlocks at wave 250, resetting your tower but granting permanent stat multipliers. First prestige awards +10% global damage; fifth prestige unlocks exclusive legendary upgrade paths unavailable in standard progression.
Three main branches - Weapons, Structure, Tactical - each containing 17-18 unique upgrade trees. Mix Plasma Cannons with Reinforced Plating and Emergency Shields to create your signature defense strategy. Every combination produces different tower behavior and visual effects.

Reset your tower at wave 250+ to earn permanent multipliers. Each prestige grants +10% base stats and unlocks one of 15 legendary upgrade paths including Orbital Strike, Quantum Shields, and Temporal Slow Field. Max prestige level: 10.
Rotating modifiers change core rules: Boss Rush (only elite enemies), Speed Run (30-second wave intervals), Limited Ammo (finite shots per wave), and Hardcore (one hit ends the run). Completing challenges awards exclusive Tech Points and cosmetic tower skins.
Your tower continues defending for up to 4 hours while offline, earning 60% of normal resources. Return to collect accumulated Credits and Tech Points. Offline progress caps at your highest achieved wave minus 20% to prevent exploit farming.
